So, who has already booked to go to the next big motorhome show? It’s not until February next year, but I already have my shopping list on the go. I’ve also entered their competition to win 2 free tickets to the show, and you can do that too.
The thing I like about going to the shows is that you can see so much all in one place. Specialist equipment stores aren’t especially easy to find, so it’s good to go to a show to get some choice and a bit of price competitiveness between the suppliers. At the NEC last October, I got a great deal on a motorhome sat nav, as there were several retailers selling the same product all in the same hall!
The other cool thing about the shows is getting to step in la-la land for an hour or two, to see the brand spanking new vans with all their luxuries and to fantasise about owning one or other of them. We can all dream, after all.
I can’t find any information on the show’s website as to whether there will be on-site camping at the show. If there is, make sure you book early – at the NEC show in October, we tried to book a pitch a month before the show, and it was already full!
